International Festival
Thank you to everyone who submitted logo ideas. We had an incredible 71 entries! At last week's International Festival meeting, the committee selected Naylet Seymour's entry as the winner. Stay tuned for the finalized logo in the coming weeks. Naylet's creation will be featured on International Festival t-shirts, which will be available for purchase.
Student-Run Activities
A group of 8th-grade students are organizing a community-wide St. Baldrick’s event on March 14. Any community member can sign up to shave their head or cut their hair to donate it (30 cm minimum) to people battling cancer. The funds raised will support cancer research and treatments at Princess Maxima Center for Childhood Cancer in The Hague. The event is being organized in memory of Mrs. Sarah De Mooij-Segal and in honor of those members of the ASH community whose lives have been affected by cancer.
