Luifelbaan Walking Food Tour

Looking for organic chicken, local butcher or a (fish) visspecialist? Are you in the mood to make an Asian dish, in the mood for Bubble (Boba tea). Wellllll.. look no further. Welcome to the Luifelbaan speciality food shop walking tour. Limited spaces - this is a 3 hour tour. 

Please note this tour is happening on Tuesday - we meet at Yang's Oriental Toko at Luifelbaan 50.

Discover beautiful Leiden from the water. Join us on canal cruise through this historical city to learn the history of Leiden and see this medieval city from a different perspective. Learn the city’s history from a local guide. Coffee, tea and breakfast treats will be served onboard. Tickets are Euro 27. limited space. RSVP is required

Spirit Wear Update

There is something for everyone at the ASH Spirit Wear Store!

Online orders can be placed at ASH Spirit Wear Store and picked up in-store.

The spirit wear store at the main campus will be open on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:00 p.m. 

We are looking for volunteers to ensure we can open each week. The time commitment is low, you get your hands on new merch first, and training is provided. Reach out to us at spiritwear@ash.nl to help.

World Clean Up Day

Join the local community to clean up the Wassenaar beaches this coming Friday during World Clean Up Day. More details on the community website. 

PVC-Free Rain Boots and Gear - Rainy days are coming! Be prepared and educate yourself on the right rain gear. Did you know many rain gear brands use PFC/PFAS or PVC? While PVC (polyvinyl chloride) can make clothing waterproof, it can also be harmful.

What can YOU do? Buy rain gear that is PFC/PFAS- or PVC-free. Choose natural rubber products and water-resistant materials. Here are some brands that fit the bill: Aigle, Allbirds, Baxter, Wood (vegan),  Bergfreunde, Bergstein, Bisgaard, Druppies (you can regularly find them on sale at De Bosrand), Fjallraven, Frugi, Gray Label, Konges Slojd, Merry People (vegan), Native Shoes, Stella McCartney(vegan), and Will's Vegan Store(vegan).
