Parent-Counselor Book Club

There is plenty of time to catch up with the amazing counselor-led book club. The next virtual meeting is April 6th at 9:00 am. Understand the power of feelings and engage in meaningful discussions about it. There is no pressure to be caught up to a certain page at any meeting, so read at your own pace and come to listen, learn, and share your thoughts. The book is available on Amazon, Bol, or you can download a free digital copy at this LINK. To join, email lkohlenberg@ash.nl.

Additionally, check out the new Family Wellbeing Hub, full of activities, ideas, and resources to help your family be their absolute best!

What to do on the Weekend?

Panorama Mesdag

This teeny-tiny museum is one of the best hidden gems in The Hague. Come see the biggest, most astounding masterpiece by Hendrik Willem Mesdag, a 360-degree panorama painting. Feel like you are inside it and let yourself get carried away. Awe is guaranteed! Along with the panorama, the small museum contains additional works by Mesdag, plus other special exhibits. Come on by! https://panorama-mesdag.nl/

Scheveningen Beach Bars/Restaurants

It is March. And what does that mean? The Scheveningen Beach Clubs are now open! With 50 restaurants to choose from, sit on the sandy terraces, or inside at a sea-view table for a diverse selection of cuisines and atmospheres. Stroll along the boulevard, then pop in anywhere for a drink, an hors d-oeuvre, or a hearty meal. If the kids aren't hungry, they can play in the sand while you munch and sip--many of the clubs have their own playground equipment. As the days get warmer, you can also rent beach lounge-chairs for the whole family. It's the busiest boardwalk in northern Europe, so banish those winter blues by heading to the beach! Check out this map selection or visit the official Beach Club website.
