Upcoming PTO Events

RESCHEDULED – Thurs. April 25, 2024, 11:00 – 13:30, Living Abroad: Empowering Expat Partners – Where you go, I go? Tips for the relocating "trailing spouse." A workshop for the unique needs and challenges faced by the accompanying partners of expats while living abroad. Vivian Chiona from ExpatNest will focus on tips, tools, and strategies to rediscover your identity and feel happier and more empowered. RVSP now.

Mon. April 29, 2024, 09:30 – 12:00, Tulip Bicycle Tour – Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided experience, cycling along colorful flower fields in bloom and visiting the most picturesque spots. Explore the flower fields around the Keukenhof, the Agatha Church, and Lisse. During the cycling tour, we will take a break (20-25 minutes) at ‘De Tulperij,’ where you can walk through a show garden of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths and treat yourself to Dutch delights and souvenirs. Tickets are €45.00, and space is limited. RSVP now.

International Festival - Sat. April 20, 12:00 - 15:00

The International Festival, which will feature more than 40 countries, will host a traditional flag parade, performances, delicious food, a kid's zone, and a raffle.

Volunteers Needed URGENTLYWe need help with Setup, Clean up, Raffle Sales, Welcome Table/ Passports, Kid's Play Zone, and Spirit Wear. If you are interested, sign up here.

Raffle Tickets for the 30+ country baskets and prizes from local vendors will be available at the event, but avoid the line and buy ahead of time. The more you buy, the more chances to win. Email with a screenshot of your purchase, and you will be emailed your assigned numbers. No physical tickets will be given. Winners not present will be notified via email. Proceeds benefit the PTO and help fund school-wide events.

International Festival Pop-Up at the ECC - Wed. April 17 from 08:15 - 09:00 and 14:00 - 15:00: Purchase raffle tickets, T-shirts, and totes (and new full zip hoodies). You can also order online and pick it up at the ECC.

Clothing Swap: In honor of the upcoming Earth Day, the Middle School Sustainability Club has organized a clothing swap during the International Festival. Bring in old clothing you don't wear anymore and swap them for something new to you. Clothes must be clean and in very good condition. Email contact:

Spirit Wear Updates

New merch ALERT—by popular demand, full-zip hoodies. The newest item in the Spirit Wear store is this cozy ringspun cotton full-zip hoodie embroidered with the American School of the Hague Trojan logo in a contrasting color. Kids' sizes are available in lavender, Hawaiian blue, and navy. Adult sizes are available in lavender, burgundy, dark heather grey, and navy.

Time is running out! Don't wait much longer if you have been waiting to get your ASH70 merchandise. It will only be available for order until the end of April, when it will go back into the vault forever.

Odyssey of the Mind

A creative and clever group of 5th graders, the ASH Odyssey of the Mind team (Prejudice Punchers!), is raising funds for a trip to the U.S. to participate in the World Finals of Odyssey of the Mind after winning big in the German finals. OM is a renowned scholastic, creative, problem-solving STEAM initiative that is entirely parent- and volunteer-run. You can donate online or at their fundraising table at the International Festival and participate in their raffle.
