Upcoming PTO Events

Mon., Sept. 27: Monday Morning Networking, Cooking & Shopping

Do you feel a little confused, even overwhelmed, at the grocery store? Why are the carrots so big, while the milk jugs are so small? How come the sugar isn't next to the flour? Why do they sell so many chocolate sprinkles? And what on Earth am I supposed to cook for dinner tonight?!! Let us be your guide through the world of Dutch products, not only for cooking and eating, but cleaning and other household essentials as well. This meeting will be virtual, so simply click the link on the PTO calendar at 9:30 am. See you there!

You can easily get to know every corner of this wonderful country in the time that you live here, so come with your calendar and pencil ready! This meeting may be in person, so watch for updates!

HALLOWEEN EVENTS

This week: Pumpkin Sale!

Get into the spirit of the season with a pumpkin for your doorstep. The PTO takes all the hassle out of your Dutch pumpkin search, by selling them directly to you. Families will be able to purchase pumpkins soon from the Spirit Wear store, and they will be available for pickup on Saturday, Oct. 9. More info will be coming this week in a Halloween Bulletin.

Sat., Oct. 30: TRUNK OR TREAT

The event you've all been hoping for is coming back to campus! Give your children a Halloween to remember with the PTO's Trunk or Treat. ASH families can volunteer (that means you, hint hint) to bring their decorated car to Main Campus and hand out treats to ASH kids of all ages. This is a PTO fundraising event, so with your purchase of an entry wristband for each attending child, you will contribute directly back to our school. Families who volunteer their trunks enter free, so CLICK HERE to register today!

The best-decorated car will even win a prize!

Look for a special Halloween bulletin next week for more details about the Trunk-or-Treat event, including how to purchase wristbands, what to expect, and everything else for a spooky, fun-filled evening!
