About the Event
The Rembrandt Walk takes you through the Leiden life of the young Rembrandt van Rijn.
The guide will walk with you past Rembrandt's birthplace and show you 17th century Leiden, where Rembrandt grew up as a young painter and received his first painting lessons and training. The walk ends at the house (now Young Rembrandt Studio) of Jacob van Swanenburg, Rembrandt's important teacher. Here you can see a short multimedia presentation of the life in Leiden of the young Rembrandt.
