About the Event

Driving is something that many of us have to do right away after moving here, in spite of not being aware of the rules that are unique to the Netherlands. Biking is a way of life here with massive government investment in infrastructure, including an ever increasing number of bike paths. Biking is a great way to explore the beautiful Dutch countryside, commute to work and school, and socialize. Do you know that cyclists, not motorists, usually have priority at roundabouts? Or, that it can cost you to wrongly park your bike? Come and learn more essential facts for all road users, as we will walk you through rules, regulations, road signs, and road safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists. We will also have a brief overview of the extensive network of public transportation options in the Netherlands.  Purchasing OV-Chipkaarts, adding funds to your card, scanning in and out of stations, and fare reductions will be covered.

Where: The comfort of your own living room!
