MMN Tuesday Field Trip: Delft Tile Painting at the Royal Delft Museum

The Royal Delft Museum is housed in a 400 year old factory and has been creating the traditional Delft Blauw pottery since 1653. Now we have the opportunity to be a part of that incredible history! Join MMN on TUESDAY March 15th at 10:30 am for a tile painting workshop. 

The workshop is 1-1.5 hours. Instructors will give guidance on how to paint with the traditional black paint (which turns the very recognizable blue when fired). You can choose one of the Royal Delft decorations for the tile (13 x 13 cm) or your own idea. The tiles will be fired and finished in 10 - 12 working business days.  MMN will pick up the tiles from Delft when they are finished and arrange for you to pick up easily from Wassenaar.

We will meet at the museum around 10:15 to be ready for our workshop at 10:30. If you are interested in carpooling either as a driver or passenger, please indicate that when you RSVP.
