MMN Field Trip Wassenaar Langstraat Orientation

Confused about where to shop in Wassenaar for all of your new home or family needs?  Are you wondering what all the shops on the Wassenaar Langstraat actually are?  Are you interested in learning what the Langstraat shops offer and sample some local delights?  If your answer is YES to any or all of these questions, please join the MMN group for a walking orientation of the Langstraat where the shopkeepers will personally welcome us into their stores!

Important Covid-19 Notes:

Please do not attend this trip if you or any member of your household is unwell or if you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the previous 14 days.

Attendance is at your own risk, we have taken all steps we can to ensure all RIVM guidelines are being met, however the PTO can not be held responsible for any issues arising from attendance on this field trip. If you feel uncomfortable at any point during the trip please, immediately, speak to the tour guide.

We have hand sanitizer, masks and food service gloves available and encourage you to use them as appropriate.

1.5 meter social distancing is required to be maintained at all times during this field trip to ensure the safety of everyone, if this is not being followed field trip will be terminated early. 

We will monitor the current situation as it develops and should the tour need to be cancelled due to changes in school or government policy we will make an announcement.

You will be required to fill out a health declaration prior to attending, this must be returned to us within the timeframe specified, failure to do so will result in you being able to join the group. This information will be stored securely and will be shared with RIVM/ GGD and ASH if required by law. You are also required to inform the PTO if you test positive for COVD-19 within 14 days of participating in this event.

Please note that if you plan to car pool for this event masks must be worn inside the vehicle if you are sharing with someone outside of your household.

Where? Where: Meet us promptly at 9:30 at POPS located at Langstraat 121 Wassenaar. Parking in Central Wassenaar is limited by time and attendees are strongly encouraged to bicycle to the event. Alternatively, parking a few blocks away from the town center outside the blue 2 hour zone is another option.

Important notes: The field trip runs from 9:30-approximately 13:15. Light snacks are provided at a couple of local restaurants.

Sign-up is required for this event, limited to one attendee per household.
