MMN Field Trip to Tulip Farm Overdevest in Wassenaar

Join us for a field trip as we visit the beautiful Overdevest Tulip Farm, right here in Wassenaar. We will have our own private tour led by owner, Kees Overdevest, who will tell us all about the history of his farm, which is the last tulip farm left in this area, as well as showing us around and explaining the tulip growing process. This is a rare insight into a fully functioning tulip farm. Please be sure to dress warmly, as this trip will be mainly outside and in unheated areas. Please make note if children are attending that there is not enough space for strollers in the greenhouses. Tulips are available to purchase after the tour (and/or you can always stop by anytime you see that the Dutch flag outside is raised). 

Where & When:  Either meet us at 10:00 at Overdevest Tulpen, Katwijkseweg 19a, Wassenaar - or meet at the ASH main campus bike shed at 09:45 to carpool or bike.
