About the Event
Join us for a walk in the beautiful De Horsten Park and climb Lilac Hill. We’ll point out some of the “can’t miss” areas for spring, such as Lilac Hill and the towering Rhododendrons. This is one of the few no dogs allowed parks. Sorry it is also not a stroller friendly tour. We will meet at 9:45 at the bike rack in De Horsten car park. They have recently introduced a 3 Euro fee for car parking (bike parking is free), it's payable via your phone with a QR code. This walk is about 1 to 1.5 hours. We will be joined by local Historian Peter ten Arve, who will guide us through the park. The tour is free, but Peter has requested a €10 donation (in cash) to support his charity project Malawi MD. Peter raises funds to support a medical clinic in Malawi.
