Join us for a field trip to the lovingly restored Kasteel Duivenvoorde in Voorschoten Monday May 2nd at 9am. Kasteel Duivenvoorde dates from the Middle ages and has been held since 1226 by descendents of the Dutch noble Van Wassenaar family until 1957, it was opened as a museum in 1963.

About the Event
Join us for a field trip to the lovingly restored Kasteel Duivenvoorde in Voorschoten Monday May 2nd at 9am. Kasteel Duivenvoorde dates from the Middle ages and has been held since 1226 by descendents of the Dutch noble Van Wassenaar family until 1957, it was opened as a museum in 1963. Passed down by inheritance with its entire collection the castle has a beautiful collection of artifacts and boasts 14 historic interiors spanning the 17th through the 19th centuries. We will have a guided tour including tea and treats. Â This beautifully preserved historic building is a treasure not to be missed!
