About the Event

Haarlem is an outstanding example of an almshouses town. Visit four almshouses during which tour you can also become acquainted with the historical city center of Haarlem and one of the finest railway stations in the Netherlands dating from the earliest day of the Dutch Railways . In the 17th century Haarlem still boasted over 40 almshouses. Of these there are now still 19 left built largely after the Reformation (1678).
