Upcoming PTO Events

Reminder for those attending Monday Morning Networking this week and next week, that road construction will impact your access to the ABF. Crossing Ammonslaantje/Deijlerweg - This road closure has implications for car and bicycle lane traffic. The ABF entrance will remain accessible from the Rijksstraatweg. The main campus bicycle entrance will remain accessible. Bus 43 will be rerouted.

Mon. Oct. 2, 09:00-11:00: Distinctively Dutch - Where do the happiest moms (and dads) in the world live? You guessed it, the Netherlands. Join Ms. Gera, our Dutch expert from ASH. Gera will help familiarize us with Dutch social etiquette so we can understand the local culture and assimilate into life in the Netherlands. Gera has advice on Dutch kisses, birthdays, and gezelligheid as well as your Dutch neighbors! The MMN committee will provide typical Dutch treats and snacks. Tot ziens. RSVP now


Mon. Oct. 9, 08:45 – 11:00:Living Abroad: This Mobile Life - Living abroad is much more than moving to another country: it is about feeling at home in a new place and thriving. In this week’s session, we will explore culture shock and the emotional toll that comes with it, providing tools, tips, and strategies to navigate its challenges so you and your family can feel good and thrive living abroad. This session is for everyone whether you consider yourself an ex-pat, a love pat, a repat, a global nomad, or an ATCK. RSVP now

OCTOBER 28 17:00-19:00 - Main Campus Wristbands are required for kids to enter. Purchase from the Spirit Wear Store by Oct. 22.

Pumpkin Carving Contest! Buy your pumpkins and carving kits online through the Spirit Wear Store, by THURSDAY. Carve a creepy creation, and enter the Jack-o-lantern contest! The top 3 pumpkins win a PRIZE!



Halloween Costume Swap! Bring in your old, gently used costumes the week of Oct. 2-6, return on Mon. Oct. 9 (during drop-off or pickup) and choose something "new." Collection bins and swap stations will be located at the ECC and UE entrances. (MS and HS donations will be accepted at these locations as well. Please contact PTOsustainability@ash.nl with questions.


Candy-collecting monsters have scattered about the campus to collect yumminess for Trunk or Treat! These hungry monsters can be found at the entrances of the ECC and UE, as well as the main entrance, through Oct. 22. We would greatly appreciate donations of wrapped candy to fill their tummies!
