Wed. Mar. 1, 09:00-10:00: PTA General Meeting Mark your calendar and plan to join us for our next PTA general meeting. Stay up to date with happenings at the school and learn how you can get involved. More details

Mon. Mar. 6, 09:00-13:00: Sligro Leiden Tour Come join us for a morning of shopping at Sligro. This fabulous wholesale store stocks 75,000 food and non-food items including beverages, sweets, and holiday treats. It also has a fantastic produce selection, a variety of frozen foods, an ethnic food selection, and a very helpful butcher and fishmonger. RSVP now

International Festival

Spring Bazaar

SAVE THE DATE for the ASH Spring Bazaar - Sat. May 13, 10:00-16:00. We expect 70+ vendors and will have a section garage sale/moving sale section for ASH families to sell used items. Spaces are limited and official registration will begin in March. Stay tuned for more details!

Community Events

Mindful Yoga Class: A new yoga class is starting in March for ASH parents. Questions or need more details? Email

Wassenaar Health Check: Adults interested in annual preventative check-ups can now access these services at a client in Wassenaar. Services are provided in Dutch, English, and German and are paid for directly by the patient. Find out more.

Expat Camp Amsterdam: The YES! The Expat Camp is aimed at international children who live in the Netherlands and want to improve their Dutch. Along with language classes, children play football on an inflatable field, learn to play field hockey, compete in relay races, and even participate in a cricket clinic with a professional cricket player. ABF Recreational Soccer: Registration for the spring soccer season is now open. The ABF Recreational Soccer program is an intramural program that takes place on Saturday mornings for children from 4-10 years old, divided into four divisions by age. Find out more.

ABF Baseball: Registration for baseball is now open for boys and girls from 5-15 years old. ABF-sponsored teams compete in the Dutch baseball league (KNBSB). League play requires a level of commitment to the team, both from the player and the parents, to both practice and be available to play scheduled games. Find out more.
